Safe Sanctuaries resources are available through the General Board of Discipleship website and through the North Carolina Conference Safe Sanctuaries Home Page.
Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned citizens. Their stated mission "is to end child abuse in our state."
AdvocateWeb - Helping Overcome Professional Exploitation AdvocateWeb  is a nonprofit organization providing information and resources to promote awareness and understanding of the issues involved in the exploitation of persons by trusted helping professionals.  They provide a helpful resource for victim/survivors, their family and friends, the general public, as well as for victim advocates and professionals.
The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., it operates America's only national hotline for survivors of sexual assault. The hotline, 1-800.656.HOPE, offers free, confidential counseling and support 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the country.

 

The FaithTrust Institute
The Institute is an interreligious educational resource addressing issues of sexual and domestic violence. Our goal is to engage religious leaders in the task of ending abuse, and to prepare human services professionals to recognize and attend to the religious questions and issues that may arise in their work with women and children in crisis. Our emphasis is on education and prevention. 
 

Associates in Education and Prevention in Pastoral Practice, Inc. (AEPPP) is an inter-religious, educational and healing ministry which exists to prevent sexual and domestic violence and to promote ethical conduct within communities of faith.
