Evangelism sponsors camp meeting revival
The Wilmington District Camp Meeting Revival, sponsored by the Wilmington District and the Conference Commission on Evangelism, will be held Sunday, Sept. 23-Wed. Sept 26 at the Butler Horse Farm in White Oak (Bladen County). This is about 30 miles east of I-95 and 5 miles West of Elizabethtown on Hwy 53 West.
Dr. Bill Bouknight will be the preacher. He is the former pastor of Christ UMC in Memphis, TN and author of the book, The Authoritative Word:Preaching Truth in a Skeptical Age , and other publications. He is one of the Keynote speakers for the 2008 Congress on Evangelism.
The revival is open to anyone across the Conference. It will be begin at 7 pm each night. Food will be food available before and after the service at a minimal cost.
