Bishop Al Gwinn Announces New District Superintendents

    Bishop Al Gwinn has announced the appointment of five new district superintendents. The appointments are effective July 1.
    Following are the changes:

     

    Chuck Cook

    Chuck Cook, pastor of First Henderson, to the Goldsboro District . The current DS, Milton Gilbert, is retiring

     

     

     

    Dennis Goodwin

    Dennis Goodwin, pastor of Trinity in Jacksonville, to the New Bern Dist rict .The current DS, Doug Jessee, will receive a local church appointment.

     

     

     

    Beth Hood

    Beth Hood, pastor of Page Memorial in Aberdeen, to the Greenville Dist rict . The current DS, Marshall Old, will receive a local church appointment

     

     

     

    Tim Russell

    Tim Russell, pastor of  Wrightsville UMC, to the Wilmington District. The current DS, Woody Wells, will receive a local church appointment.

     

     

     

    Gray Southern

    Gray Southern, pastor of St. James in Greenville, to the Durham District. The current DS, Judi Smith, is retiring
