Upcoming Network Maintenance
The IT Office will be performing routine maintenance and hardware upgrades in the Conference server room the weekend of 5/9. This e-mail serves as the first notification of this maintenance window and will list the projected time line. Please note the following:
Maintenance Window
Begins at 5 PM on Friday, May 9th and runs until 7:30 AM on Monday, May 12th. At any time during this window various services may be unavailable as we perform various upgrades on the Conference network.
Planned Service Outage
During the beginning of the upgrade process we will need to temporarily take all of the Conference web services offline. Please note the following planned outages:
- Main Conference website ( nccumc.org ), Online Data Collection System and all Conference e-mail services - Outage planned for a 12 hour window beginning 5 PM on May 9th.
- Internal Conference network - Intermittent outages planned for the entire weekend.
- Local Church Domain websites - Outage planned to last 24 - 48 hours.
- Any Conference service may be disrupted intermittently during the overall maintenance window (depending on testing and any unforeseen issues).
What do I do if I get an error message?
Please follow these steps:
- Check to see if the service you are trying to use is in a planned outage window (see above). If it is, then please try it again after the window passes.
- If you get an error message that is not inside a planned outage, please wait two hours and try it again.
- If after two hours you still get the error message, please contact the IT Office:
