Share Today - Invest in Tomorrow

A "share" is an investment.  It also means having a part in a larger undertaking.  Your share in the $10 Club is both of these things - an investment in churches for tomorrow, and a way of sharing your resources in a partnership with other Christians joined together by a common commitment to extending the word of Jesus Christ to new people in new locations.

Share Today...

Your share in the $10 Club is an investment in the future of Christ's church.  By agreeing to purchase on or more $50-per-year shares today, you'll become a partner in beginning new churches to serve people of the North Carolina Conference for many tomorrows.

As the $10 Club enters its fifth decade, its shareholders renew the original commitment to provide land and facilities for new United Methodist congregations in Eastern North Carolina and in counties where there is a proven need for new churches.

The work of the $10 Club has a powerful past.   From the 94 churches started with these funds over the past 40 years has come 65 percent of the membership growth in our Conference.  We know this is a successful evangelistic force that needs strengthening for the future.

...Invest in Tomorrow

The geographical area served by our Conference expects a population surge of 181,000 more people in the next five years.  At least 20,000 shareholders in the $10 Club are needed by the year 2000 to reach these people.   Each share of $50 annually can be made at $10 per call - five times each year - or in a lump-sum payment.  With each call asking for $10, you will receive a copy of "Share-Builder," a newsletter telling you how your share is being invested and the expected or realized return.

If you own church has been a blessing in your life and you want to ensure that same blessing for others, please consider becoming a multiple-share investor toward building for tomorrow.

BE A SHAREHOLDER TODAY in the mission of the $10 Club;  more importantly, be a share-builder for the churches of tomorrow.
